I am incredibly unhappy and seems nobody cares.
I am from South Africa, my son is in Boca West, Florida. I do not know where you despatch your orders from and I do not know how long it would take, I thought if I give you the delivery date than you will make suggestions or at least communicate with me.
It was my sons 20th birthday and because he is all alone and so far from home I wanted to get a cake and some chocolate delivered to him to surprise him. It cost me almost R1400 which is a lot of money in South Africa for something like this.
I ordered the following, you sent him:
Chocolate Fudge Single Layer cake (9 inch), some cream cake white cake (see attached photos, full of mould and totally destroyed)
Special message on the cake – Happy birthday Jacques 20, you can clearly see on the photo that there was no message on that cake
Chocolate items 1 – 3, Bar – Dark, Chocolates in a box, Hot Chocolate, he received a bar of chocolate, a packet of fruity chocolates and a chocolate with nuts (he does not eat nuts).
Balloon: Singing Happy Birthday Balloon , he received two inappropriate balloons, I would never have chosen that. “Blow out your candles and SHUT UP and Birthdays… WHO CARES?!
So he received a bar of chocolate for R1400 and a very apologetic mother in tears.
When I tried to explain the situation to JANE in your customer care, she kept on sending me the same message that you are sorry but it was all my fault?
Does your brand not mean anything to you, if you cannot fill my order with the things I ordered then let me know and I will make another plan? I had a baker on stand by 2 kilometres away from him, but I put my trust in your brand. It was clearly a huge mistake. I saw a similar complaint from another distraught mother and she also had the privilege to speak to JANE.
I could have sent him the money to buy something, but I really wanted to put a smile on his face BUT it made him nauseated.
