Where do we start... should have started the process by looking at some reviews, so I will give them 1 stars to show my fault for not checking. That being said, thought it would be a great idea to send flowers to a friend that was traveling to New York on her birthday. Ordered the flowers, as the website said they can same day deliver on Sundays. Flowers get ordered, and scheduled but realistically going to arrive on Monday. Monday afternoon I don't see the flowers being delivered, so I contact customer service, which btw was really quick to their credit. They tell me to just wait and see, at which time I see that it did not get delivered on Sunday. So, I ask what is going on, and they tell me they shipped it to the wrong processing center, but don't worry it will get there Monday and just keep checking the updates. Ok, looks like it's still in the wrong processing center 250 miles away. You would think they would dispatch right away to the correct center, but oh wait, nope, just wait. Wait until Monday evening and still not delivered. Contacted them again, and they say we don't guarantee delivery and anyways it's my fault since it's 1 business day. Ohhhh... I see. So for a business that is open 365 days a year plus delivery available 7 days a week, would that not mean that every day is a business day? What about the confirmation email you say? Ohhh.... it says Monday delivery. Well, why not contact the courier? It's interesting when you talk to them, they tell you that since it was dispatched wrong, the shipper needs to contact them to change the delivery location (as she is already checking out of the hotel). Contacted New York Blooms again and they kindly inform you to just talk to the courier, that just told you they can't do anything since it was dispatched wrong. Bottom line, customer service is great at responding with no meaningful or helpful response by just stating wait and see, and it is what it is mentality.
We surprised our newlywed friends with wine and flowers and you delivered in 36 hours! They were thrilled and so were we.
